Stillwater Community
Visitor Center
The journey of the Corps of Discovery and Lewis and Clark's frontier spirit exemplifies the nature of all who set out to settle the West. That same spirit of cooperation and courage has been the foundation of the Stillwater County community.
The area represents most of the major events, eras and themes of Montana history. The leadership of the Stillwater County Chamber of Commerce recognizes the geographic and historical significance of Stillwater County and has identified a need for a central location to tell the story of the area, from Lewis and Clark's initial visit until now. It would be a place to welcome visitors and invite them to stay awhile and enjoy the incredible environment which is a part of everyday life in Stillwater County.
With this vision, the Stillwater County Chamber of Commerce has begun a fundraising venture to construct the Stillwater Community Visitor Center.
Proposed drawings of the new Stillwater Community Visitor Center,
which will be located just off Interstate 90 in Columbus.
Please note that the Chamber is a 501 (c)(6) and contributions are NOT tax deductable.
