E+ Program Summary

Northwestern Energy offers a variety of programs, services and resources to help our Montana customers to better manage energy costs. These
program offerings are funded through Northwestern Energy's Universal System Benefits Charge (USBC) or through Northwest Energy's supply rates.
Qualifications apply. Log-on to www.northwesternenergy.com for complete program details. Federal and state tax credits may also be available.
Residential Programs:
E+ Energy Audit for the Home
Free onsite energy audits and mail-in survey audits.
Available to: NorthWestern Energy space and water heat homes that haven't received a residential audit since 1992, and are 5+ years old may qualify
for the on-site audit. A mail-in audit is provided to residential electric customers that use electricity for appliances, not space or water heat.

E+ Natural Gas Savings Rebate Program
This program includes REBATES to natural gas space and water heat customers for programmable thermostats, insulation improvements, and for choosing
qualifying high efficiency natural gas measures. Rebates are higher when customers work with a Preferred Contractor. Available to NorthWestern Energy
residential natural gas home space and water-heating customers in existing homes. Call (800) 823-5995 for more information.
E+ Home Lighting Rebate
Customers receive a REBATE of up to $2 or instant savings on ENERGY STAR® compact fluorescent light bulbs (CFLs). Rebates available for ENERGY STAR
hard-wired lighting fixtures. Available to: All electric residential customers. Limits on quantities per household. Other qualifications may apply.

E+ Residential Electric Savings Program
REBATES are available to electric space or water heat customers for qualifying electric measures. Available to: NorthWestern Energy residential electric
customers in existing homes with electric space and/or water heat. Call (800) 823-5995 for more information.
E+ New Home Program
Customers building a new home may receive rebates for ENERGY STAR lighting and qualifying natural gas measures. Nothwest ENERGY STAR manufactured
homes also qualify for rebates. Available to: Residential customers depending upon their NorthWestern Energy electric or natural gas service.

Low Income Programs:
Local human resouce councils have information on these
programs and for state and federal assistance.
E+ Free Weatherization Program
Provides insulation and other efficiency improvements at no cost to the Low Income Energy Assistance Program (LIEAP) qualified space-heating customer
of NorthWestern Energy. Available to: Customers meeting the LIEAP guidelines who heat their homes with electricity or natural gas from NorthWestern Energy.
Bill Discounts
Discounts on NorthWestern Energy bills. Available to: Customers meeting the LIEAP guidelines.
Emergency Energy Assistance
One-time emergency energy assistance is provided through ENERGY SHARE OF MONTANA. Available to: NorthWestern Energy customers in energy emergency;
LIEAP eligibility not required.
