I learned how to knit at age 6, refreshed my skills in 4-H at age 10 and have been knitting since.

I will carry two lines of yarn to start with: Louet of North America. This is a high quality 100% merino yarn that is washable--it is reliable, blocks well and maintains it shape well. I am also carrying the affordable line of Lion Brand--primarily the Wool-Ease. Another tried and true yarn.

I will carry 12-16 colors in the Louet and weights of fingering, sport weight, and worsted. In the Lion Brand, I will carry 22 colors in the Wool-Ease, 10 colors in Baby Soft and 8 colors in their chunky yarn. I will aslso carry a local hand dyed yarn by Kelly Carter-Flynn: In Dyer Strait.

Come by and see my cozy studio, sit and knit room and class room. Peruse my 60 book library and over 100 leaflet patterns for ideas. Many are free downloads from Ravelry.

I will open March 1 for business, and hold a Grand Opening with many promotions and discounts on March 17.

Since opening in 2008, the Muddy Lamb has grown into a full knitting shop and pottery studio.

With our warm, inviting atmosphere we help teach the basic arts of working with clay and wool.

We offer classes in knitting, crochet, spinning, felting and pottery. We carry Skacel, Plymouth, Cascade Mountain Color, Sassy Sheep and some local wool and Alpaca yarns.

Our specialty yarn is our very own Bass Ranch yarn raised right outside of Fishtail.

We also carry a large selection of bisque ware that you may glaze at any time. This activity is perfect for all ages and talents.
